The government of Canada will table Budget 2010 on March 4th. In preparation for that important piece of legislation, Peter Braid will be in Kitchener–Waterloo throughout January and February, meeting with constituents, businesses and community groups, to gain their perspectives on Canada's economic future.
Budget 2010 will have three priorities: rapidly and effectively implementing the second year of Canada's Economic Action Plan, restoring a balanced budget once Canada's economy has fully recovered, and building the economy of the future. As one of this country's cutting-edge communities, Kitchener–Waterloo has a role to play in each of these priorities.
