Breakfast Fundraiser for Haiti

Nursing on the International Front... A fundraising breakfast in support of Haiti earthquake relief efforts. Wednesday, February 10 Forbes Room, RIM Park 2001 University Ave, Waterloo Cost: $40 per person / $20 per student / $320 per corporate table Registration 7:00 AM / Breakfast 7:30 AM / Opening Remarks and Guest Speakers 8:00 AM / Adjournment 9:30 AM
Waterloo Mayor Brenda Halloran will act as MC for the event. Guest speakers will include Sylvia Scott, RN, Jill Gale, RN, Diego Marquez-Leon, a recent nursing graduate, and Betsy Wall, from the Foundation for International Development Assistance -- productive co-operatives Haiti. Join us to hear about the challenging and rewarding experiences these people have had using their knowledge and clinical skills to provide care and treatment in India, Jamaica, Africa and Haiti. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Haiti earthquake relief efforts, and matched by the Government of Canada. Tickets must be purchased in advance by contacting Ellen Otterbein (519-624-9781 / eotterbein@cmh.org) or reserve your spot online at http://nursingonthefrontlines.eventbrite.com. Payment (cash or cheque; cheque preferred) will be accepted on the day of the event. Cheques must be made out to the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada and tax receipts will be issued.
